Physiotherapy & rehabilitation in Diepenbeek

Recover.
Come back stronger.

Whether you are dealing with low back pain, have twisted your ankle or need rehabilitation after a cruciate ligament injury: after a thorough case history and clinical examination we get you moving again through manual therapy or exercise therapy. Guided by one of our seven therapists, each with their own specialisations.

Credo / 01

Credo

[ˈkreeːdoː]

Latin for ‘I believe’

We believe an injury is not an end point but a starting point.

That pain is a signal and not a lifelong diagnosis. That your body can handle far more than you think today, provided we build it up step by step and patiently. And that by believing in yourself and trusting our guidance, you discover what is really in you.

Value 01 Motivation

Your goal becomes our goal, and it can be anything: lifting your grandchildren without pain, running a few kilometres without trouble, playing football at the highest level again after cruciate ligament surgery. From day one we will do everything we can to help you reach it.

Value 02 Passion

Our passion for the job and for our patients makes for a deeply involved approach. Thanks to our enthusiasm we will always try to bring out the best in you.

Value 03 Empathy

Behind every patient there is a person. That is why we gladly lend an ear to all your questions and concerns. Through our empathetic approach we better understand which factors influence your complaints, and we can take that into the rehabilitation.

What we do / 02

What you can
come to us for.

A physiotherapist works with his hands on a patient’s leg.

Treatment

Manual therapy
& Physiotherapy

We always start with a thorough case history and a clinical examination, to map out the cause of your complaints as well as possible.

On that basis we draw up a targeted treatment, which may involve mobilisations, manipulations, dry needling and other techniques. We also give you specific advice and exercises to support your recovery and to prevent complaints in the future.

Build-up

Exercise therapy

If movement came in pill form it would be the most prescribed medicine in the world. With us it is the foundation, not an afterthought. And we dose it like a medicine.

You get a schedule that grows with your capacity, built around your injury and your daily load. Not a photocopy of the previous patient’s schedule.

Dry needling

Dry needling

Dry needling is a targeted treatment in which tense or overloaded muscles are treated with a thin needle. It can help reduce muscle tension and pain and improve mobility.

Tuur, Dries and Philippe are specifically trained for this. Do you suffer from muscle tension, pain or restricted movement? Book an appointment with one of them and find out what dry needling can do for you.

Before you call.

Do I need a referral?

Yes, a referral is required. Bring it with you to your first appointment.

What does a session cost?

A session costs €36. Each one gives you 30 minutes of intensive, personal guidance. At your first appointment a one-off file fee of about €7 is charged, which is reimbursed almost in full. With exercise therapy you carry on training on your own in our gym after your guided session, at no extra cost.

Will it be reimbursed?

Your health insurance fund reimburses more than half of the session fee. Depending on your fund and the applicable reimbursement you end up paying about €17 per session.

Do I have to be an athlete to come here?

Certainly not. Our patients are a very mixed group. Although we stand for an active approach, we treat every patient according to their needs. And at their own pace.

How long does a programme take?

That depends on your complaint and your goal. We work in five steps: appointment, examination, plan, build-up and an end point. We agree those goals together at the intake, so you know what you are working towards.

What do I bring?

It is best to bring your referral and a sticker from your health insurance fund. Also bring a towel and a water bottle. Water is always available at our water station.
